Not only is he stunning to look at this 'big' boy gets the job done. He is no nonsense in the field and absolutely loves to retrieve. He hunts hard and has a beautiful high head point. He is always first to the bird when we are guiding hunters. Tex doesn't let thick cover stop him from doing his job. He is 80# of pure muscle and heart. His desire to hunt is second to none. He is a closer working dog, rarely gets over 80yrds. He marks like a retriever and has never lost a bird.
His 'off' switch is a good one. He is very obedient and hates to get in trouble. He is happy to be alive and knows you want to throw the 2X4 that he is bringing you. So far Tex has hunted South Dakota, Utah and Colorado in his 2 years of life. He was well behaved on his private jet trip with his Owner Bo Nickal.

This girl is one smart cookie. Jade has a big heart and a fun playful attitude. She is always up for a new adventure. She is a natural bird dog with a looonnnggg nose’ like her daddy ‘Shooter’ Standing Stones Gun for Hire MH. When she says there is a bird there you can trust that there is a bird there. In the Field Jade is a machine. She typically works in the 50 to 70 yard range. She hunts hard, is not afraid to busty thick cover and doesn’t miss a thing. Her point is intense and stylish and nothing short of gorgeous. She has an intensely strong retrieving desire and absolutely loves the water. She naturally backs and has since she was a small puppy. All of these characteristics she inherited from her momma ‘Hazel’ Standing Stones Hazel the Huntress.
Jade's confidence is astounding and it shows in whatever task she attempts. She learns exceptionally fast and doesn’t forget. She never misses a 'mark' even the 400 yard ones. Her first hunting trip was for sharp tails in Nebraska and from cactus to porcupines she never missed a beat. She learned real quick to not bust into the draws. She ace’d her Natural Ability test with a perfect score of 112 Prize I. Because of her ability and personality we fully intend to pursue higher levels of testing through NAVHDA and AKC. Watch for this girl, she comes from proven, amazing bloodlines and has a big bright future.
