Access to 7T Outfitter's Colorado Hunting Experiences
T he mountain ranges, mesas and plateaus of Colorado’s Western slope, Battlement Mesa and the Town of Parachute were once seasonal campgrounds for Ute Indians. Settlers also found the area ideal for ranching and farming and called it home.
Visitors will experience breathtaking scenery and typically agreeable outdoor weather. The terrain ranges from cedar covered mountain sides to grass covered Colorado River front. Perfect habitat for today's hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to find just what they want for an ultimate Western Colorado upland game bird adventure.
Getting here isn't difficult, our base camp is located right along the I70 corridor in Parachute, CO. 7T staff are happy to help with directions, travel recommendations, airport shuttling, lodging and hunting field transportation if needed. Notify staff upon booking and any necessary arrangements can made.
Traveling to Parachute, Colorado
Flying: it is best to fly in to Grand Junction Regional airport, 40 minutes from Parachute. If you fly in and out of Denver (DIA) a rental car will get you to us in about 3.5 hrs. We are West on I-70.
Shuttles to from the airport are available and can be included with any of the hunting packages we offer. Please contact us for details.
Driving: Parachute exit 76 on I-70 West from Denver or East from Utah.
Lodging & Camping
Rooms at 7T Outfitters Basecamp Location are available, luxurious and feature all the necessary amenities and then some! Ask about lodging when booking your hunt! We have also secured discounted rates at all the local 'Pet Friendly' hotels.
Unique to 7T Outfitters are our dispersed camping sites. These are located on the edge of our beautiful, rugged upland hunting fields. Ask about our "Noon to Noon hunting/camping packages!
Colorado Hunt Dog Training
Dog trainers will find 7T ideal for training, with every possible terrain and live targets in and out of season. 7T Outfitters offers various, all-season options for training opportunities.

Colorado Hunt Licensing
7T Outfitters follows all Colorado Season laws, licensing and requirements when applicable.
Private Land Upland Hunting legalities: Hunters only need to show a Certified Hunter's Safety Certificate and Small Game License. We are not subject to bag limits/season dates. You COULD be asked to watch a short safety video online or upon check in.
